We just got back from round 2 of the WORCS series that was held at Racetown 395 in Adelanto, California. The WORCS series has really grown and does a great job offering a very competitive west coast series. We were stoked to see all our great customers and team riders out there and enjoyed getting to spend some quality time with them. It was a busy weekend checking on all our customers and working with our pro and amateur teams. We are stoked to be working with MCR Honda’s Mike Cafro, Beau Baron, and Levi Marana, Polaris’ Doug Eichner, and the Dats Kawasaki Team along with some solid journeyman privateers. It was a good weekend for us as we took 50% of the top 10 spots with our best placing riders being Eichner in 3rd, and Baron in 5th. This weekend we’re off to the round #1 of the ATVA Nationals at Glen Helen. If your going come by and say hi. Thanks to Fast Photo Lab for the photos.

We just got done setting up the L&M Yamaha team spoke torque wrenches for the 09 season. They run our pre-set wrench at 60in.lbs. They need the additional torque for the massive abuse SX obstacles create. We had a logo done of each of the mechanics names and lasered it on to the barrel of the wrench for that extra special touch. We appreciate the L&M team using our Spoke Torque Wrenches to maintain their wheels and look forward to continuing to work with them.
Paul Delaurier, Oscar Wiredman, and Chris Rohde are the mechanics for James Stewart and Kyle Chisolm. We’ve been working with Paul since his days wrenching for Mike LaRocco on the Jack in The Box, Factory Connection Honda in 1998!

We received the following email from the Stewards of the Sequoias. The Stewards are one of the most pro-active, efficient grass roots trail protection groups out there. They perform trail maintenance days and spend countless hours lobbying to keep public land open for all to enjoy. We are concerned with public lands being closed to our use and urge you open the link below and send off a pre-drafted letter concerning the Omnibus Land Act. It only takes a few minutes to do and can have a significant impact.
From Stewards of the Sequoias:
I know you are concerned about closures of our public lands. The Omnibus Land Act of 2008 is a massive land grab bill that will lock up millions of additional acres of public land, close thousands of miles of recreation trails, harm already struggling rural economies, further reduce renewable resource harvesting, be detrimental to forest health by eliminating all forest management, restrict property rights and hamstring energy exploration in the United States.
If there were awards for bad legislation this bill might take first, second & third, but unless more people speak up it is likely to pass. Please take two minutes to submit a pre drafted letter to legislators opposing this bill by clicking below

Please share this email with your lists and post it on blogs.
